Rosario C Acosta, 97, of Anderson, passed away on May 8, 2017 at Community Northview Care Center, Anderson.
She was born on July 9, 1919 in Puerto Rico, and resided most of her life in New York, but in Anderson for the last few years. She retired as an LPN in the state of New York. She loved the New York Yankees, especially Derek Jeter.
Rosario is survived by her daughter, Norma Jimenez, son, Tony A. (Chris) Acosta, step-sons, Michael Brimat, Neal Brimat, Bobby Brimat, Daniel Brimat; grandchildren, David (Michelle) Jimenez II, Mark (Emmy) Acosta, Diane Jimenez, Danny (Ginger) Jimenez; great-grandchildren, David S. Jimenez III, Landon Jimenez, Cameron Jimenez, Robert Acosta, Samuel Jimenez-Hall, Alex Jimenez-Hall, Channing Jimenez-Hall, Dylan Jimenez, Cameron Jimenez, Eli Jimenez; several great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Antonio A. Acosta, Sr., second husband, Benjamin Brimat, mother, Emilia Cantres, and her father, Tomas Cantres.
