Rosario A. Serna, age 74, went home to be with Our Lord Tuesday October 26, 2021 surrounded by love of her family.She was born October 20, 1947 in Brownsville, TX, a daughter to Porfirio Alvear and Osvelia Garza. She was one of ten siblings. Rosario is preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Jose Alvear, Roberto Alvear, Porfirio Alvear and one sister, Refugia Alvear.She leaves to cherish her beautiful memory her devoted and loving husband of 36 years Florencio M. Serna, their five sons, Miguel Vasquez (Maria), Javier Vasquez, Jose Guadalupe Gutierrez, Jaime Cisneros (Angela), Baldemar Serna (Ana), three daughters, Sonia Serna (Julio), Raylynn Marie Serna and Belinda Lopez (Roberto), Brothers, Miguel Alvear, Daniel Alvear, Ruben Alvear, Reynaldo Alvear, two sisters, Juana Alvear and Christina Sanchez. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
