Rosanne Weber, age 87, of Whittemore, passed away on Thursday September 1, 2016 at the Kossuth Regional Health Center in Algona. Rosanne Pauline Germann, the daughter of Louis and Sylvia (Rahm) Germann, was born on August 11, 1929 in Algona, Iowa. She graduated from the Presentation Academy in Whittemore in 1947. On May 23, 1949 Rosanne was united in marriage with Dennis Weber at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Whittemore.

Rosanne worked for Montgomery Ward in Algona for 19 years, was a cook at the Knotty Pine Restaurant in Whittemore and was an avid Hospice Volunteer. Her fine penmanship earned her the role as the hospice thank you note writer. She belonged to the Rosary Society and was the PUMA for the Red Hats in Whittemore. She was involved in card clubs and loved to play bridge, pinnacle and 500. Rosanne was a fabulous cook and baker. Rosanne would make up to 50 apple pies in one day. She loved to dance and spend time with her family. Especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Left to cherish Rosanne’s memory is her husband of 67 years, Dennis; children, Dale (Beth) Weber of Colorado Springs, CO, Dean (Lori) Weber of Hewitt, MN, Denise (Frank) Barger of Big Lake, MN and Diane (Jim) Hagedorn of New London, MN; daughter-in-law Deb Weber of Eagle Bend, MN; eleven grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren and a sister-in-law, Bonnie Germann of West Bend. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Doug Weber; grandson, Brent Hagedorn; great grandson, Bode Mennen; brother Dwayne Germann and sister, Irene Sherman and twin sister, Joanne Muller.
