Rosalyn “Betty” Bower, 73, of 6 Ridgedale Avenue, died peacefully, Friday, August 12, 2011, at her home following a brief illness.

Betty and her husband, William J. Bower, observed their 38th anniversary on October 28, 2010.

Betty was born December 26, 1937 in Williamsport, was a member of the Williamsport Assembly of God Church and had a passion for baseball and softball. She ran a business “Dolls by BB”, made porcelain and cloth dolls for the Country Cupboard in Lewisburg for many years and made dolls and quilts for friends and family.

Surviving besides her husband are sons, Daniel K. (Robin) Cassidy Jr. of South Williamsport and Patrick S. (Kim) Cassidy Sr. of Linden; a daughter, Laurie L. Fisher of Montoursville; brothers Harold, Mike and Larry Logue, all of Williamsport and William Logue of the Philippines; sisters, Jean Borrosco, Evelyn (Tom) Oeler and Kathy (Buzz) Marshall, all of Williamsport; grandchildren, Tenley and Kylie Cassidy, Matthew, Jacob and Jared Fisher and Patrick, Joseph and Katie Cassidy; and great grandchildren, Aurora Chilcott and Tyson Fisher.
