Rosalinda Garcia, 74, entered the Lord’s heavenly kingdom on Tuesday, April 5, 2022.
Rosalinda was born on January 17, 1948 to Samuel Guerra & Maria Villarreal Guerra.
Rosie was married to her high school sweetheart, Frank Garcia, for 54 years. They were blessed with their miracle baby, Brenda, 36 years ago. Rosie started her teaching career with the San Benito Headstart Program in the late 60s. She continued her college education and earned her teaching and counseling degrees. Rosie taught with the Rio Hondo school district until her retirement in 2004. Rosie was a beautiful soul deeply rooted in faith. She was loyal, kind, patient, and the voice of reason for family and friends.
She is preceded in death by both her parents and sisters, Alice Moody, Maggie Jantz, & Carlota Sanchez.
Rosalinda leaves behind to cherish her beautiful memory, her husband, Frank Garcia; daughter, Brenda Lee Garcia; son, Ruben Trevino; grandson, R.J. Trevino; siblings, Corina (Artemio+) Lopez, Tina (Michael) Dennis-Jones, Carlos (Linda) Guerra, Janie (Felipe) Silva, Yolanda Guerra, Norma (Manuel+) Gonzalez, Ana Maria Guerra, Sammy (Mary) Guerra, & Ruby Ann Brady, and 40 nieces & nephews.
