Rosalie Ann Spicer, 82, of Moberly, passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2020. She was born August 28, 1938 in Mexico, MO.

She married Donald Ray Spicer June 30, 1956 in Moberly, MO and he survives of the home. Also surviving include her children, Kimi Spicer Arnold and her husband Terry of Sedalia, Ronnie Spicer and Pam of Moberly, daughter in law, Gina Spicer of Moberly, grandchildren; Mindy Beebe and her husband Mike, Tarah Toellner and her husband Grant, William Arnold, and Josh Spicer; great-grandchildren, Taylor, Hannah, Katelyn, Easton, Eli, Ollie, Everett, and Alexis; two sisters Glenna Wescott of Keytesville and Debbie Anderson of Ft. Madison, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Virginia Meyers and Richard Gurwell, her son Donnie Lee Spicer, a brother William McVay, and a sister Libby Sullivan.

Rosalie was an amazing woman who valued family and loved ones above all else. She was employed with the school district for several years, and really enjoyed her time working with children.  She then began a career with Edward D. Jones, where she worked for over 30 years until she retired. She loved her time there and the people she met along the way. Rosalie and Donald also owned and operated Don’s Restaurant in Moberly for over 8 years.

Rosalie enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, crocheting, and visiting Florida. She was selfless to her core, taking care of many family members and friends in their time of need. She was a devoted wife, wonderful mother, and a very proud, loving grandma and great-grandma. She will be remembered by her family and loved ones for her quick-wit, giving nature, and unconditional love and support.
