Rosalie Ruth Schriefer, age 74, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 11, 2022, at Avalon Nursing and Rehabilitation, in Newnan, GA surrounded by her family. She was born on March 9, 1948, in Council Bluffs, IA to the late Harold and Neoma Frieze. Along with her parents, Rose as she was known by friends and family, is preceded in death by her sisters, Sandy SerQuina and Carrie Katalinich. She is survived by her children, Robin Windom (Dudley), Hoy Wessel; life partner, Barbara Schriefer; grandchildren, Alex Buchanan (Brittney), Joshua Buchanan (Samantha), Mahalia Hernandez (Eddie); 3 step grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Virgil Frieze.
