Rosalie Marie Johnson (Marchello/Antonali)

 December 26, 1939- May 26, 2021

Formerly of Alameda, Rosalie was born to Carlo and Dorothy (King)Marchello

Being the oldest of 5, Rosalie spent a lot of her time watching out and caring for her 4 younger siblings. It’s from this experience that created her natural path to be a caretaker for many young children in her lifetime. After high school, she fell in love with our father, Grover Johnson who she married in December of 1960. Rosalie was a housewife, Mom, Aunt, and Grandmother to whom she provided care for at some point in their lives. She worked in both private and public childcare at different points in her life.  Rosalie was a dedicated Mom who attended all of her children’s sporting events. Sometimes she would even bear the cold evening to watch her husband play softball at Washington Park. She cherished her family and friends, but especially the time she spent with her kids and grandkids. She was a very proud grandmother and always wanted to know about their latest accomplishments.
Rosalie leaves behind her loving four children: Donna (David) Orozco, Jeffery (Monina) Johnson, Ronald (Christine) Johnson and Kenneth Johnson; seven grandchildren: Alexander, Cienna, Brooke, Ethan, Madison, Thomas and Kylie. Her sister Carleen, brother Johnny and many nieces and nephews.

Rosalie is preceded in death by her husband Grover, father Carlo, mother Dorothy, stepfather Raymond, sister Sandra, and sister Deborah.
