TEWKSBURY – Rosalie Susan (DeAmato) Fedele passed away peacefully in hospice care, on March 31st, one week after her 75th birthday.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years Louis Fedele, her children Robert and his wife Karen of Wilmington, Deborah and her husband Gregory of Middleton, Laura and her husband Sean of Wilmington, her grandchildren Christopher, Jonathan, Caroline, Samantha, and Emilia, her siblings John and wife Susan, Joseph and wife Rachaelle, Shirley and husband Michael, 10 nieces/nephews and 9 great nieces/nephews. Daughter of Italia (Edith) Rossi and Carmen DeAmato, Rosalie (Ro) was born in Boston’s North End and was raised closely alongside many first cousins. She joined the North End Puppeteers which fostered her love for creative entertainment. At age 12 her family moved to Somerville where she attended NCC High and, at age 15 met Louie, her partner for life.

Rosalie completed a program at the Burdette School and secured a job at John Hancock. At age 21, she married and moved to RI, then Somerville before settling in Arlington. Besides being a devoted Mom, she built a 35 year career in ad sales at Community Newspaper Company. Retired in Tewksbury, she golfed, travelled and doted on grandchildren. Her passions and hobbies included tennis, bowling, golf, exercise, painting, reading, museums, music, theatre, movies, the ocean, dancing, Foxwoods, chocolate, and Candy Crush Saga. She loved to laugh and make others laugh and always perceived the glass as half full.
