Rosalie Dexter Thompson, age 87, died Monday evening at Kitty Askins Hospice Center. She was born in Wayne County to the late Silas and Nora Elmore Cox and was married to the late Gary M. Dexter and Joseph D. Thompson.
She is survived by six children, Douglas M. & Brenda Dexter of Dudley, Mark W. & Janice Dexter of Fayetteville, Patricia & Ray O’Valley of Goldsboro, Paul D. & Mary Dexter of Dudley, Silas W. & Dee Dexter of Virginia and Gary Lee & Kim Dexter of Albertson.
