Rosalee Mae Williams, 81, of Elkhart, passed away Friday morning, March 8, 2013, at Kindred Nursing & Rehabilitation Valley View.

She was born March 16, 1931, in Lansing, Mich., to the late Clyde and Flossie (Wade) Davis.

She married Ben Williams on June 20, 1953, in Lansing. He preceded her in death.

Surviving are her children, Pastor Valerie (Pastor Jack) Smith of Elkhart and Marshall (Mindy) Williams of White Pigeon, Mich.; and two grandchildren, Davis and Jack.

Rosalee was a high school English teacher and worked in a library. She volunteered for many years teaching children to read, including at Pinecrest Elementary School.

Rosalee was a 50-year member of All Saints Episcopal Church in Lansing and had attended St. John’s Episcopal Church and Elijah’s Fire International Church in Elkhart. She was a member of the Audubon Society and the International Walkers’ Association.
