ATKINSON, NH – Rosa (Palermo) Giacalone, 70, died Thursday, December 3, 2015, peacefully surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Salemi, Sicily on May 25, 1945, and is the daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine (Pisano) Palermo. She traveled to this country from Sicily at the age of 11 and settled in Amesbury and is a graduate of Amesbury High School, class of 1964. She attended and graduated from Fazio School of Hair Design in Lawrence, MA in 1966.
She made long lasting friendships while she worked at Raytheon for 38 years and since retiring in 2007 she loved traveling with her late husband Francis P.
