Mrs. Rosa Lee Greene Smith, age 73, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Sunday, March 20, 2016 at Redmond Hospital. She was born on January 18, 1943. She was the daughter of the late Sam E. Greene and Miranda Belle Greene and was preceded in death by her husband, Lamar “Bulldog” Smith; and her siblings; Virginia Sutton, Marylou Brown, James Greene, Juanita Lewallen; and her son-in-law, Ronald David Elkins. Rosa Lee is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Dianna Elkins, Winona “Wendy” Hawkins and Donnie Hawkins; grandchildren, Ross (and Alex) Elkins, Hannah Hawkins, B.B. Hawkins, Zaya Hawkins, Jodie Elkins and Judie Rahman; great grandchildren, Grant Elkins, Bryson King, Sophia, Chloe, and Charlotte Rahman; brother and sister-in-laws, Dewitt (and Sandra) Greene, and Marylyn Greene; and sisters and brother-in-law, Bonnie Simpson, Helen Kelly, Agnes LaPlant, Patricia (and Lamar) Burnette, and Charles Lewallen.
