Rosa was born on April 29, 1934 in Santa Rosa to Juan Garza & Maria Salinas. She loved sewing & cooking for her family.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Alberto O. Cortez Sr.; and grandsons, Joshua Cortez & Conrad Cortez.
Rosa leaves behind to cherish her beautiful memory, her loving children, Albertico (Rose) Cortez, Rosalinda Aparicio (Ricky), Alvaro Cortez (Nora), Albert Cortez Jr., Adrian Cortez Jr., Adrian Cortez, & Rosie Lopez (Rene); and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, other relatives, & friends.
Inurnment will be Saturday, September 10, 2022.
