Rosa Dias Duarte, 86, formerly of East Haven, peacefully passed away on January 3, 2012. Rosa was born November 11, 1925 in Portugal and was a dedicated, loving, caring and sacrificing wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was predeceased by her loving husband Antonio Diamantino Duarte. She is survived by her son Antonio J. Duarte and his wife Jo-Ann Smith of Burlington; her daughter Maria Pappacoda of East Haven; her grandson Nicholas Pappacoda of East Haven; her granddaughter Tanya Pappacoda of New Haven; and three great-grandchildren.
