ROSA C. ABILES, 94, former resident of Lordsburg passed away Sunday December 11, 2016 in Laveen, Arizona.
Rosa was born June 6, 1922 in Lordsburg to Amador and Lazara (Robles) Casillas. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and sewing. Rosa was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
She is survived by her brother, Roy Atilano of Lordsburg; sisters, Ramona Contreras and Concha Vargas of Lordsburg, Ernestina Mendez of Willcox, Arizona, Librada Rodriguez of Oracle, Arizona; 5 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Severo Abiles and by her son, Luis Abiles.
