East Tennessee State University for a year until an injury ended his baseball career.

He left school, joined the Air force, and spent time in several countries including Korea and Greenland.

He came to Hobbs for work and met and married his current wife in 1979 and they have enjoyed forty-three happy years together. He spent 20 years as a letter carrier with the post office until his retirement.

He then found a passion for coaching and began to coach basketball at several institutions including,

NMJC, several junior high schools and high school at Eunice. He coached both boys and girls and enjoyed

both experiences very much.

He loved all sports, but especially baseball and golf. He also had an affinity for western movies and
