JORDAN Ronald “Ronnie” Hugh Jordan, 78, of London, passed away Saturday, January 27, 2018 at his home. Ronnie is joined at Heaven’s Gates by his parents Harry and Ruth Jordan, brothers Richard, Charles and Robert Jordan. He is survived by his loving wife Sally; sister JoAnn (Pete) Lovette; son Kevin (Kathy) Jordan, daughter Lisa Jordan (Kris Swank); step-son Phillip (Sara) Newell, step-daughters Tina (Marty) Colwell, Lori (Rodney) Albright, Buffie (David) Browning; grandchildren Kristopher (Montse) Jordan, Jacob Jordan, Kyle (Rachael) Gilespie, Shyanne Gilespie, Justin Gilespie, Zach Colwell, Courtney Colwell, Malorie Colwell, Amiee (Shane) Patulski, Ashley (Jeffery) Moore, Chelsey (William) Lemmon, Jordan Browning, Dallas Newell, Lauren Boyd, Natalie Boyd, TJ Hill; great-grandchildren Jocelyn Lemmon, Kayleigh Lemmon, Nevaeh Toles, Kianna Toles, Gracie Toles, Julia Jordan, Justin Hill, Kienlee Hill, Izzy Fairbanks. And a special thanks to his best friend “Red” Rutherford. Ronnie retired from the City of London Water Department, where he was employed for 30 years. He was also dedicated to the LABC, where he coached and was the League Commissioner for over 45 years. After he retired, Ronnie operated his own lawn care business for 15 years and he played Santa Claus at local businesses and private parties for 25 years. Ronnie loved sports, playing basketball and baseball for Jeffersonville High School from where he graduated. He was an avid Buckeye fan as evident of all the Ohio State clothing he wore almost daily. Through the years, Ronnie loved watching his kids and grandkids play sports and cheer. Ronnie loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and was so happy to attend the Madison County Vineyard Church with Pastor Denny Tatman. Anyone that met Ronnie knew that he had an extremely big heart. He was always there to help anybody that needed it. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Richardson and nurse practitioner Lori Knight for all of their care, as well as Loving Care Hospice for their care and comfort before Ronnie passed.
