Ronnie Gustavson Ronnie Gustavson, 87, of Danbury, wife of the late Raymond H. Gustavson, died on Monday evening, February 10, 2014 at The Kent, Kent, CT. Mrs. Gustavson was born in Seymour, CT, August 31, 1926, a daughter of the late Peter and Bertha (Kubisek) Solomon. A resident of Danbury since early childhood, she attended Locust Ave. School and graduated from Danbury High School-Class of 1944. Mrs. Gustavson was a retired legal secretary having been employed with the Law Firm of Martin Rader, Sr. and Martin Rader, Jr. Prior to being a legal secretary, Mrs. Gustavson served as secretary to the late J. Thayer Bowman, former Mayor of the City of Danbury Active in the local Republican Party, she was a former member of the Y.G.O.P., Danbury Republican Women’s Club, the Republican Town Committee and served as an election poll moderator. Mrs. Gustavson is survived by a daughter, Deborah Cassavechia and her husband, Larry of Danbury; two sons, Raymond H. Gustavson and his wife, Mary Agnes of Mont Clair, VA and Eric P. Gustavson and his wife, Pamela of Brookfield; a brother, William Solomon of Messina, NY; four grandchildren, Eric Cassavechia, Lindsey Cassavechia Liss and her husband, David, James Gustavson and Nicholas Gustavson; a great granddaughter, Adrianna Liss; grandchildren from the heart, Jared Cassavechia and Kaylee Cassavechia; several nieces, nephews and in-laws.
