Ronnie G. Ford, 73 of Glenridge, passed away Friday, February 26, 2016, at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia. He was born September 8, 1942, in Manila, Arkansas, the son of Ralph Ford and Dortha (Dunigan) Ford.

He married Winifred Ann (Richey) on October 31, 1984, and she survives in Glenridge.

In addition to his wife, he is also survived by three sons: Ronnie L. Ford and wife Angela of Centralia, Donnie G. Ford and wife April of Walnut Hill, and Danny J. Baldwin and wife Charity of Florida; three step-daughters: Robin Sermons and husband James of Glenridge, Debbie Day and friend John Bradley of Sandoval, and Barbara Day Acevedo and husband Jose of Springfield, Illinois; 12 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild on the way; two sisters: Donna Cunningham and husband Gary of Gillette, Wyoming and Brenda Bowen of Davenport, FL; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law, Roy Bowen.

Ronnie served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion, VFW, and Centralia Moose Lodge #223. He was the Past President of the Bears Club in Centralia. For many years he was an over-the-road truck driver. He drove locally for Buske Truckline, Beelman, Henderson, and Liquid Transport of Centralia. He retired from truck driving in 2000. Ronnie and his wife Winifred were owners and operators of the Midway Tavern in Glenridge. He enjoyed playing golf. Most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends.
