Ronald “Ronnie” Chastain, age 72, of Chatsworth, Georgia passed away Saturday, March 5, 2016. He was born on October 29, 1943. Ronnie was always ready to help the Murray County community and served as a Murray County Commissioner. Ronnie was the owner of Chatsworth Glass. He is preceded in death by his parents, Broughton and Juanita Chastain. Ronnie is survived by his wife, Betty Chastain of Chatsworth; sons and daughters in law, Monte and Angie Chastain of Dalton, Anthony and Sonya Chastain of Dalton; daughter and son in law, Crystal and John Cherry of Chatsworth; brother and sister in law, George and Brenda Chastain of Dalton; sister, Dianne Duckett of Dalton; 6 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
