Ronelda F Funk, 96 of Fellowsville, passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at Heartland of Preston County with family by her side. She was born on June 12, 1917 in Terra Alta, daughter of the late Earl Freeland and Nellie Plum Freeland Sigley. She was a homemaker and loved quilting and gardening. Ronelda is survived by four daughters, Mary Holyfield, Tunnelton, Linda Clarkson and husband Paul, Fellowsville, Betty Warden and Michael, Richmond, VA, Dolly Hixenbaugh and David, Rowlesburg; a son she never had Keith Hamilton and Debbie, children, Dylan, Colby and Kendra; eleven grandchildren, Virginia Morgan-Cook, David Holyfield and Wilda, Raymond Holyfield and Cindy, Donna Murray and Greg, Gloria Knotts, Gary Clarkson and Judy, Kimberly Zink and Toby, Kalista Hornick and Steve, Dedria Warden, Stacey Hixenbaugh and Melissa, Veronica Shrout and Andy; twenty three great-greatchildrens, Ray Holyfield, James Holyfield and Julianna, David Holyfield, Arron Holyfield, Brittany Morgan, Melissa Holyfield, Angela Cimilora and Tim, Keith Garnie, Mandy Garnie, Justin Zink and Chelsea, Ashley Arbogast and Kyle, Mariah Murray, Adam Clarkson, Evan Clarkson, Payton Ziegler, Jamesanna Shrout, Addison Shrout, Dylan Nestor, Steven Hornick, Kallie Warden; Kyleigh Afton, Tony Afton, Gage Brando; nine great-great grandchildren, Braxton, Jada, Aydan, Sarah, Katelyn, Austin, Janelle, Alexa and Aaron, close friends, Neil and Lana Clarkson, Betty and Terry Hamilton; Barbara and Greg Ridenour and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Ronelda was preceded in death by her husbands, Lafayette Knotts and George W Funk, one child, Merle Knotts, two grandchildren, Terry and Jerry Holyfield, one great grandchild, Kimberly Holyfield, one son in-law, Raymond Holyfield, six brothers, Howard Plum, Harold Sigley, Reed Sigley, Dana Sigley, Ray Sigley, and Ugene Sigley; five sisters, Viola Hebb, Maxine Mets, Elnore Reems, Mildred Wilson, Ruby Sisler.
