Ronald William Allbright, 83, of Greenwood, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2021 in Franklin, Indiana.
Ronald was born on June 20, 1938 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Elmer Harrison and Helen Louise (McClelland) Allbright.
Ronald married the love of his life, Martha Mae (Weber) Albright, on October 16, 1976 in Charlottesville, Indiana; they were married for forty-four wonderful years.
Ronald proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from 1955 to 1960 and was actively involved in The Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), The Marine Corps Association, The Marine Corps League, and The Military Order of the Devil Dogs. He later worked in sales at Larsan Beauty Supply in Martinsville, Indiana for nine years until his retirement in 2000. He had a strong, personal relationship with Jesus Christ and regularly attended Christ United Methodist Church. Ronald was also a loyal member of the Free & Accepted Masons of the Scottish Rite.
Ronald is survived by his wife, Martha Albright of Franklin, IN; his two children, Lynn A. “Powderpuff” (Travis) Fahy of Whiteland, IN and W. Dexter “Turkeybutt” (Jennifer) Albright of Greenwood, IN; his seven grandchildren, Anthony (Maggie), Alex, Phillip (Jasmine), Valerie (John), Conner, Vincent, and Gavin; his three great-grandchildren, Hailey, Jeb, and Ayla.
Ronald was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Chloe, and his parents, Elmer and Helen Allbright.
