Salem Ronald Wayne Herrod, 50, of Rt. 2, Salem went to rest in peace with his Lord on Monday, May 30, 2011. He was born January 24, 1961 in Harrison County to the late Ernest Wayne Herrod and Delorise Jean Lynch Herrod. He is survived by his wife Terri Radcliff Herrod; four sons, Christopher W. Herrod, of Morgantown, Dustin J. Herrod of Hagerstown,MD,and Tyler Herrod and Jeremy Herrod both of Salem; two stepchildren, Tyrissa Debonis and husband Micheal of Cortland, OH, and Jack G. Pringle of Clarksburg. Also surviving is his sister, Terissa Kelley and husband David of Salem, his uncle, Ron Lynch (who resided with Ronnie and Jeremy); five grandchildren, Brianna Herrod, Douglas Herrod, Franklin Debonis, Vincent Debonis, and Amelia Debonis; two nephews, Josh Kelley, Andrew Kelley and wife Tiffany; grand-nephews, Luke and Logan Kelley; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Mr. Herrod was employed by FedEx Freight in Clarksburg, WV. He served in the United States Army from 1979 to 1983, was a member of Salem Gun Club and Salem Volunteer Fire Department. Ronnie enjoyed hunting and motorcycle riding.He attended Victory Baptist Church at Wiseman Run At his request, the body will be cremated.
