Ronald W. Zokal Sr. 65, of LaSalle, died surrounded by his family on November 11, 2014 in St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
Mr Zokal was born in LaSalle on December 17,1948 to Joseph and Josephine (Majcen) Zokal. He married Sue Wasilewski on January 15, 1983. Ron worked for Len Trovero Construction until retirement.
He is survived by his wife Sue of LaSalle; six children, Joe Zokal of Peru, Jason (Angela) Zokal of North Carolina, Gina (Steve) Olsen of Peru, Sarah Swango of Peru, Ron (Heather) Zokal of Scott Air Force Base and Stacy (Jeff) Koncor of Peru; fiftheen grandchildren and one great-grandson; his best friend Dodo; four sisters, Gloria (Bill Hancock) Nowakowski of Peru, Shirley (Bill) Erickson of DePue, Cindy (Butch) Ernat of Norway and Stella (Tom) Gende of Peru; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Danny Zokal.
