Ronald W. Weyant, Sr., of Neversink, passed away on February 20, 2022. He was 82.
Ronald was born on July 5, 1939 in Cornwall, NY to Robert Weyant and Beatrice Vandervort. He served his country in the US Navy. By profession, he was employed by Frontier Communications in Monroe as a telephone installer and repairman. Ronald was active in his community, serving as a member of the Liberty Elks Lodge, Pioneers of America, and member of Boy Scout Troop 96. He was a true outdoorsman who could often be found on his lawnmower or landscaping his yard, in which he took great pride.
Ronald is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Patricia A. Montanye; his children, Ronald Weyant Jr. and his wife Emanda, Robert Weyant and his wife Salie, Richard “Ricky” Weyant, Christopher Weyant and his companion Donna, and Arthur “L.A.” Weyant and his wife Julie; twelve grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; his sister, Marily Roach of Minnesota; and several nieces and nephews. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
