Ronald W. Lucas, 73, of Terre Haute passed away June 10, 2015 in Union Hospital. He was born in Terre Haute on June 5, 1942. He was preceded in death by his biological father Archie Hopton and his mother and step-father Florence (Wilson) Lucas and Roy Lucas; and his grandparents J. Mach and Florence Wilson. He is survived by his wife, Sally McKinley Lucas, a sister Marilyn Jackson; a step-daughter that he considered a daughter, Kerri (Dennis) Hamilton; one step-grandson Kristopher Hamilton, one step-granddaughter Kayla (Brian) Flenar; ; three step-great-grandchildren Siler Hamilton, Sadie and Samuel Flenar; three cousins Angela (Garry) Seidner, Shelly (Mike) Kemp, Carson (Linda) McWilliams, and two lifelong special friends Vernon Keller and Wayne Shaw. He also has many other friends and family. He retired as a driver for Winn-Dixie and also worked and retired from NAPA Auto Parts Stores as a parts delivery man. Ron was loved by all who knew him.
