Ronald Evans, 84, formerly of Babylon, New York, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, October 29th, 2019, in Rockledge, Florida. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Rita (nee Blinn), and their sons Charles (wife, Janice) of Suntree, FL; and John, of Rockledge, FL; two granddaughters – Julie Evans, of Rockledge, FL; and April VanVlack (husband, Luke) of Milford, Pennsylvania; and four great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by brother, Pfc. Charles R. Evans.
He was a retired self-employed proprietor of the former Frost Boat Yard, Inc. (now Suffolk Marine) for more than 40 years, a carpenter by trade, and a proud, lifetime member of the Babylon (NY) Village Volunteer Fire Department.
