Siciliano (1945-2021) Ronald J. Sr., age 75, of Glen Mills, PA passed away on January 24, 2021 from complications caused by COVID-19. Born to Frederick and Anna (née Cavaliere), Ron was raised in South Philadelphia and graduated from St. John Neumann High School. Ron enlisted in the United States Army at the age of 18 and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He served honorably for four years, achieving the rank of Specialist. Upon returning home, Ron met Rosemarie, who would become his loving wife of 52 years and mother to his three beautiful children. He also began a 30-year career in the Philadelphia Police Department. Determined and hardworking, he excelled at his job. After a stint as a K-9 officer, he was promoted to Detective in 1972. A true jack-of-all-trades, Ron also spent time working as a TV repairman, a locksmith, a general contractor, and an accountant. For his family, he even assumed the roles of chauffeur, mailman, driving instructor, comedian, and encyclopedia. Regardless of the task, he always made sure to give his all and never passed up a teachable moment. As a husband, father, and grandfather, Ron provided unconditional love and an indescribable presence that will be sorely missed.Predeceased by his brothers, Frederick Jr. and Andrew. Ron was briefly survived by his wife, Rosemarie (née Valone). He is also survived by his son, Ronald Jr.; his daughters, Dianna Archer and Michele Siciliano; his sister-in-law, Mary Ellen; his 11 grandchildren, Nicholas, Anthony, Rose, Liliana, Julia, Anna, Michael, Vincent, Frederick, Philip, and Ronald III; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.Tragically, Ronald and Rosemarie Siciliano passed away within weeks of each other.
