Ronald “Ronnie” P. Siefert, 72, of Anderson, passed away on July 26, 2019, at Community Hospital-East, Indianapolis.
He was born on November 25, 1946, and resided most of his life in Anderson, the son of Earl and Dodie Siefert.
Ronnie graduated from Anderson High School . He retired from Delco Remy Division of General Motors. Ronnie was a Viet Nam veteran who proudly served his country in the United States Army, having been awarded the Purple Heart. He also served as a body guard for President Richard M. Nixon. He enjoyed playing pool and watching NASCAR. As a child, he was a ping-pong champion.
Ronnie is survived step-sons, David (Lori) Brown and Bobby (Laura) Brown; sons, Tommy Siefert and Brian Siefert; grandchildren, Austin (Marilyn) Reid, Christopher Brown, Aaron Reid, and Wesley Brown; great-grandchildren, Emma, Gavin, and one on the way; brother, Wayne Siefert; sister, Nancy Lunsford.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ruth Siefert; step-son, Ricky Brown.
