Ronnie lost his battle against bladder cancer, Sunday, June 5, 2016. Preceded in death by his parents Guy and Margie Folds. Ronnie is survived by Sheryl Dupuy Folds, of Trussville, AL – they were married 45 years; aunts, Gaynelle Taylor (Carlton) of Greensboro, NC & Gertrude Hardison, of Newport News, VA; sister-in-law, Michelle Lawrence (Harold) of Hayesville, NC; niece, Hollye Smith (Jimmy) of Rome, GA; nephew, John Lawrence (Chelsea) of Charlotte, NC; great nieces, Mary Burke Smith, Harper Smith, and Charlotte Lawrence; many cousins, friends & his devoted dog, Nub. Ronnie was a graduate of Ensley High School and Jacksonville State University. He was retired from Alabama Power and currently employed by Trammell Equipment Co., Inc. He was a member of Huffman Baptist Church. Ronnie enjoyed fishing and recently radio control airplanes. He also enjoyed his association with a local Corvette club. The family would like to extend special thanks to his devoted friend, Wade Brown.
