Galinsky1941~2021Ronald C Galinsky, EdD , 80, died on September 4, 2021 following a lengthy and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He resided in Media, PA for 25 years. Born August 13, 1941 in Hartford CT, Ron earned a Bachelor’s degree from Union College, a Master’s in Psychology from Springfield College and a Doctorate in Education from Temple University. Ron taught at Saint Joseph’s University and operated a private Psychology practice in Haddonfield NJ for many years. Following his retirement, he pursued one of his enthusiasms and opened a Sports Card and Memorabilia store. Throughout his life, he greatly enjoyed travel. Resident of a local retirement community for the past five years, Ron shared his expertise by teaching relaxation and stress management techniques. He enjoyed playing and coaching Bocce Ball and participating in Community Theatre productions. He was predeceased by his parents Rose Sigal Galinsky and David is survived by his Life Partner Janet Roney, and by his loving daughters, Kara LaGamba and husband Hank and Debra Garvin and husband Tom and grandchildren Sierra LaGamba, Gianna LaGamba, and Jenna Garvin. He is also survived by brother Carl Galinsky and wife Carol, and his nieces, Joanne Fontana and Karen Lesh and their families.
