Ronald Francis Harkins, age 88 of Warminster, PA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at his home in Warminster with his family by his side.  Born in Philadelphia, “Reds” lived in Warminster for the past 57 years.

Known by his friends as Reds, or Ronnie, he had worked for the Chapman Auto Group as an auto mechanic for 44 years.  Mr. Harkins was an avid fisherman, enjoying many fishing adventures off the coasts of Florida.  Family and friends will remember him with his cigar in his mouth and a large fish hanging by his side.  Reds was a car enthusiast and NASCAR fan, enjoyed reading and putting together jigsaw puzzles.

Son of the late Neal J. Harkins, Sr. and Ada Mae Liener and father of the late Kimberly Ann Harkins-Reim, he is survived by his wife Mary Ann (Ditty) Harkins, three children Ronald Harkins, Jr. (Bernadette) of Abington, PA, Christopher Harkins of Warminster, and Joan Torres (Andy) of Warminster, two sisters Rosemary Sickle of Dresher, PA and Maryanne Stemock of Winter Springs, FL, 9 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
