Ronald R. Imfeld, 66, of Bristol, died unexpectedly on Wednesday (March 28, 2007) at Hartford Hospital.
He was born July 24, 1940 in New Britain, son of the late Grace and Walter Clark. A resident of Bristol most of his life, he was employed at New Departure-Hyatt for many years until his retirement. Ronald drove stock cars at the former Plainville Stadium and Stafford Springs Speedway. He formerly taught figure skating in the local area and was an avid ballroom dancer.
He is survived by his two sons, Darren Imfeld and his wife, Isabel of Bristol and Scot Imfeld of Bristol; his former wife, Sally (Walker) Imfeld of Bristol; his grandson, Thomas Imfeld; his two brothers, Richard Clark of Plainville and Walter Clark of Bristol; his sister, Joanne Snow of Plymouth; several nieces and nephews.
