Born in Lewiston, ME on January 8, 1954, son of the late Roland Bannister and Carmen St. Cyr-Bannister. His career included working as a parent liaison for Lawrence Public Schools and at Malden Mills as an operator.
Survived by his wife of 49 years of marriage, Diane Bannister; sons Scott Bannister and wife Emily and Jeff Bannister and former wife Wendy; grandchildren Austin Bannister, Tyler Bannister and Katelynn Rosette; brother of the late Roland Bannister.
