Ronald Leon Phillips, age 66, passed away on June 22, 2016 at his Grand Junction Home.
He was born March 20,1950 in Oak Creek, Colorado, to Boyd Phillips Jr. and Myrtle E. Whaley. Moved to the Grand Junction area with his family in 1955 where he attended and graduated from Palisade High School, then went to Colorado School of Mines. He was quite the story teller, smart, everyone learned something from him. He touched everyone that knew him whether good or bad.
He married Delores Ann Clyncke, June 10, 1972. He is survived by his wife Delores; Daughters Kanda (Joe) Misiaszek of Pueblo, Terra (Rich) Staats of Grand Junction, and Ronda (Bobby) Wilmot of Pueblo, CO; 8 Grandkids (Richie, KaiLee, JB, Summer, James, Emily, Zade, and Phillip) Parents; Boyd and Myrtle Phillips, Grand Junction; Sister Twila (Mark) Berry Pueblo; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and numerous special friends. Ron is preceded in death by 2 of his sisters Ginger Rose Phillips Sagrillo Etcheverry and Genelle Renee Phillips Howell.
