Ronald Paul McMillen, age 61, of Salem, died at 9:36 p.m. Monday, August 29, 2016 at the Salem Regional Medical Center. He was born March 2, 1955 in Salem, Ohio, the son of the late William Lee McMillen Sr. and Elizabeth (Manypenny) McFarland.
He attended Mahoning County Workshop and liked football and basketball. He always followed Salem and West Branch sports, he also followed Cleveland sports teams. Ronald enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and having coffee at Heggy’s, Dunkin Donuts and Pop Jackson’s.
Survivors include two sisters, Patricia (Tim) Boughton of Salem, and Debbie (Sam Bates) McMillen of Salem with whom he resided with; a brother, William McMillen Jr. of Salem; a stepbrother, James (Beverley) McFarland of Salem; two stepsisters, Patricia Cloud of Lisbon, and Brenda McFarland of Salem; longtime friend, David Taylor of Salem; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, stepfather, Marvin McFarland; stepsister, Bonnie Hicks; sister-in-law, Sue McMillen; and great niece, Brittany Gulu.
