Ronald H. Mulinix, Sr., age 88, of Bloomington, Indiana passed away of Alzheimer’s Disease at Garden Villa in Bloomington on April 7, 2018. Ronald was born on July 15, 1929, in Toledo, Ohio to Homer and Esther (Burgy) Mulinix.

Ronald was in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and became a disabled veteran. He was a member of the American Legion for over 60 years. Ronald graduated from the University of Toledo with a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and began working at Crane Naval Base as an engineer. He was a member of the Alumni Association at the University of Toledo. He was a big fan of University of Toledo sports, and later became a fan of Indiana University sports due to his wife being a fan. Ronald enjoyed fishing, golfing, and antiques, especially old tools and wooden planes. Most of all, Ronald enjoyed his family and loved them dearly.

Ronald is survived by his wife of over 63 years, Coral (Cunningham) Mulinix, children, Ronald H. Mulinix, Jr., Douglas Mulinix (Shawn), Jeffrey Mulinix (Rebecca), and Colleen Mulinix, grandchildren, Erica, Jacob, Daniel, Anastasia, and Autumn, great-grandchildren, Carson, Jack, Anniston, and Britton, sister-in-law, Beverly Mulinix, and many nieces and nephews.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Albert and Dale Mulinix, sisters, Joyce Cunningham and Colleen Mulinix, and father and mother-in-law, Haskell & Olga Cunningham.
