Ronald Louis Godden ll passed away unexpectedly on June 25, 2020 at the age of 57 years old. Ron was born in Jackson, Michigan on March, 12 of 1963.
Ron grew up in Parma Michigan where he attended and graduated from Western High School in 1981. Ron and his wife, Kristine Godden (Hyden), have been married for 28 years and always talked about retiring in the future and traveling in an RV. Ron was an avid reader and enjoyed deer hunting. He loved and cherished his family and would do anything for them.
Ron worked in horticulture for over 40 years and worked for Wenke Greenhouse for 27 years. Ron’s dedication to his work was extraordinary; he started at the bottom, digging holes and worked hard over the years to earn his position as Head Grower. Ron had also been nominated for Grower of the year.
He will be greatly missed by so many, especially is loving family.
He leaves behind his wife, Kristine Godden; three children: Courtney (Randy) Bauman, Kyle (Analysa) Godden, and Keith Godden; five grandchildren: Colton Bauman, Kennedy Bauman, Greyson Bauman, Kinsley Godden and Hudson Godden. Ron is also survived by his mother, Kathleen (Davis) Godden, and sisters: Anne Huizenga and Susan Godden.
Ron was preceded in passing by his father Ronald Louis Godden.
