Ronald L. Blair, 80, passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2021, at home in Granger, IA. Ron was born April 20, 1941, to Roy and Louise (Oyres) Blair in Granger and lived there all of his life. He graduated from Granger High School and married Linda Hussey on November 16, 1968. Ron started his career at John Deere in 1958 where he worked for 41 years, retiring as a supervisor in 1999.
Ron was a member of Woodward Golf and Recreation for over 50 years, where he and his son, Joe, won the father-son tournament five times. He was also an avid Iowa Hawkeye fan.
Ron is survived by his wife of 52 years, Linda, son, Joe (Catherine) Blair of Urbandale, IA, grandson, Jackson Blair, brother-in-law Wayne (Diane) Hussey, sister-in-law, Kathy Hussey and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother.
