Ronald Keith Bobenmoyer, 86, passed away on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at home with his loving wife Lila, his beloved daughter Peggy Sue and niece LeeAnn by his side.
Keith was a devoted and loving husband of 66 years, a kind and caring father to his children, Gary Michael Bobenmoyer (deceased) and Peggy Sue Gabbard.
Born in Celina, Ohio to Ross and Ermyl Bobenmoyer.
Keith’s desire to travel steered him to his career path as a professional truck driver. For over 50 years, logging over 1 million miles driving for Stokely Van Camp, American and Yellow Freight Lines, he saw the beauty of our beloved country, and made many friends along the way. Keith and Lila were high school sweethearts and graduated from Warren Central High School in 1949. Throughout their lives, they traveled, vacationed and eventually retired to Florida with many of their classmates and friends nearby. He was loved by all who met him.
Keith is survived by his wife Lila Lee LaMere-Bobenmoyer; daughter Peggy Sue Gabbard; grandson Michael Gillock (Jeannie); great-grandchildren Cody, Jackson and Samantha; nephews: Robert “Butch” Bobenmoyer (Susan), Donnie and Stacy Bobenmoyer; great nephews Ross and Brad Bobenmoyer, Perry and Paxton Switzer; nieces Lynn Dennis (Mike), Melissa Bobenmoyer, Laurie McRae, LeeAnn Chambers; great nieces Vanessa Dennis, Nicole Switzer; and sister-in-law Judy LaMere.
