Ronald K. Jackson, 58, of LaSalle, passed away Wednesday, February 09, 2011 at Spring Valley Nursing Center. Ron was born on March 6, 1952 in Davenport, Iowa to Russell and Leah (Hollett) Jackson. He moved to Horizon House in 1972. Ron was a dedicated employee to Horizon Industries through January 14, 2011 when he retired.
Ron was an enthusiastic Chicago Bears fan, a loyal Chicago Cubs fan and an avid bowler having participated and won a metal for bowling in the Special Olympics. Rons family in both the Quad Cities and Horizon House were a great source of joy to him.
He is survived by one brothers, Robert K. Jackson of Clinton; two sisters, Rita Ramirez of Moline and Kea Boyce of Silvis, IL; one sister in-law Bonnie Jackson of Barstow, IL; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Ken Jackson; and his dog, Shadow.
