Ronald K. Greenwood of South Grafton, formerly of Northbridge, died on Sunday, September 5, 2021, in Adviniacare of Northbridge, 85 Beaumont Drive, after a brief illness.
He leaves his wife of sixty years, the one great love of his life, Carol M. (Violette) Greenwood; two sons: Michael J. Greenwood and his wife, Shirley S. (Rossi) Greenwood, of Cumberland, RI, and Ronald K. Greenwood, Jr., and his wife, Stacy D. (Oberle) Greenwood, of Davie, FL; three grandchildren: Jessica A. Skole of Cohasset, Erika N. Greenwood of Winchendon, and Joey J. Greenwood of North Lauderdale, FL; a great granddaughter, Isabella G. Greenwood of North Lauderdale, FL; and nephews and nieces and their families.
He was predeceased by his parents, William H. and Antoinette (Chapdelaine) Greenwood (AKA Boisvert); a son, David K. Greenwood of Mendon; and two brothers: William H. Boisvert of Leominster and Robert P. Boisvert of Uxbridge.
Mr. Greenwood was born in North Uxbridge on February 19, 1939, and lived there until his marriage in 1961. He then lived for 54 years in Northbridge before moving to South Grafton in 2015. He was a 1958 graduate of Uxbridge High School and served in the U.S. Army from 1958 to 1961.
Mr. Greenwood worked for 34 years as a warehouseman and truck driver for Bay State Abrasives of Westborough and several other area companies before he retired in 2000. He was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Parish, Northbridge. His one great passion was his motorcycle; he and Carol rode with the Royalties Motorcycle Club of Auburn for many years.
