Clifton Springs formerly of Palmyra – Ronald K. Cauwels, 82 entered eternity on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at Strong Memorial Hospital.
Family and friends may call Sunday (June 2) from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Norman L.
Ron was born the son of the late Cornelius and Susie (DeMeyers) Cauwels on Thursday, August 28, 1930 in Sodus, NY. He grew up in Marion and attended Marion Schools. Ron retired from Xerox Corp. where he was a material handler. He was a member of the Palmyra Moose Lodge, Palmyra VFW and Palmyra American Legion.
Ron will be remembered by his sons Doug (Kerry) Cauwels of Penfield and Ken (Lauren) Cauwels of GA; daughter Sharleen (Andy) Tremfer of Palmyra; step-daughters Margie (Dayton) Lambert of Clifton Springs and Kay (Walt) Gendron of Hilton; 15 grandchildren and several great grandchildren; sisters Delores (Dick) Siler of Newark and JoAnn (Chuck) Tange of TX; many nieces and nephews.
Ron was predeceased by his wife Harriet; great grandson Jason Owens; sister and brother-in-law Shirley and Maurice Adams.
