Ronald “Joe” Wright, age 80, peacefully passed away on August 6, 2022, at home following his fight with cancer. He is survived by the love of his life, Paula D. Wright (Kostanzer) and their two children: Ronda D. Mace (h. Tony) and Timothy S. Wright (w. Dawn).
Joe was preceded in death by his parents Wilbur Clarence Wright and Martha Jane (M.J.) Eller Wright and brothers Wilbur Jerry Wright and Terry Lee Wright.
Joe was a soldier in the US Army during the Vietnam War building roads used by the troops. Upon returning home he returned to Fauber Construction and eventually retired from Milestone Contractors in 2003. He was a member of the Int’l Union of Operating Engineers Local 103, Masonic Lodge 561 and the American Legion Post 11.
Joe loved to spend time with his family and friends, travel, fish and all types of auto racing. He was always available to help family and friends.
Joe never met a stranger and if you were lucky enough to spend time with him chances are you walked away with a smile, and a new story to tell. He will forever be in our memories and hearts.
