Ronald “Joe” Skiles, late of Franklin, Indiana, passed away on January 2, 2022.
Born on February 3, 1975, in Indianapolis, Joe attended Franklin Community Schools and went on to become a salesman. Energetic and positive, with an infectious sense of humor, he always lightened the mood and made others feel comfortable.
Joe had a persuasive way with words and could talk to anyone – the kind of guy who never met a stranger. He loved fishing, and cherished his connection with God. Joe will be forever missed by his family and friends, who will treasure their memories of him as a free spirit who was always there to lend a helping hand.
Joe is survived by his children, Miranda and Joey Skiles, Jayden, Asher, and Memphis Edwards, and Gavin and Jaylin Poindexter; and his sisters, Kerri Whittington, Roberta Sullivan, Marjorie Skiles, Kristen Neice, and Melissa Gonzalez. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald Vern and Bess Skiles; his brothers, Daniel Whittington and James Neice; and his sisters, Autumn Skiles and Lauri Holbrook.
