Ronald J Morgan entered the gates of Heaven on August 29, 2017. Truly nothing could describe Ron’s life better than the book of James in his beloved Bible. Underlined, notated, highlighted and dog- eared, it described the blueprint for the way he lived his entire life.   Born to Rolland and Nora Morgan he began his life in Emmett humbly. It was the seed that motivated him to work hard and plan from an early age. Morning and evening paper routes allowed him to invest in a bicycle so he could deliver more papers. That money allowed him to invest in a Cushman scooter so he could pick up and deliver laundry. The laundry route allowed him to buy a car when he entered high school so he could work at the grocery store and thus a career in creative financing was born. Ron remarked years ago that he was fascinated with real estate because of the energy and excitement. He and Cheryle purchased dozens of properties and had their hands in the development of many more through hard work, sweat equity, and some of the most imaginative bartering, trading and financing Emmett had ever seen!

Nothing Ron accomplished in his professional and personal life would have been possible without the love of his life, Cheryle. Cheryle was his high school sweetheart and they were true partners in everything. He stated often that she was supportive and sincere and she said she chose him because she was absolutely convinced that he could do anything! They were married for fifty six years.  In 1965 Ron went to work as a Sales Representative for the Nabisco Corporation and over the years he was appointed Account Manager and later promoted to the District Sales Manager. He had a long and distinguished career with the company and much to the delight of his family was able to supply all of his children and grandchildren with a steady supply of Oreos!  In 1993 Ron retired from Nabisco and began a short but successful career with Diamond Realty selling, instead of buying, Emmett properties.
