Ronald J. Marone, 72, of West Haven passed away on November 17, 2010. He is survived by his fiancée and the love of his life Judy DeFillippo, his children Larry Marone, Melissa (Mario) Gazzaneo all of West Haven, Marika (Bob) Murray of Waterbury, Danielle (Ed) Brennan of Watertown, and Gia (Bill) Camara. He is also survived by his grandchildren Steven, Katelyn, Eliya, Carmia, and Damian, his brother Peter Marone of Milford, and many close friends. Ronald was a member of the West Haven IA Club. He loved to sing and he was an original member of the doo-wop group “The Academics”, who are still performing today. He was also an avid numismatist.
