Ronald J. Gobin, Sr., 75, of Providence, died peacefully on August 30, 2023. He was the husband of the late Beverly A. (Raftery) Gobin. Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Ovila Gobin and Margaret (Burns) Gobin.
Ron owned and operated Alliance Motor Sales in Providence until his retirement. He was also employed at Blackstone Subaru, Colonial Toyota, Moe’s Auto, and Bridge Auto Sales.
He leaves his loving children: Ronald J. Gobin, Jr. and his wife Elizabeth of Pawtucket, Lisa A. Gobin of Cumberland, and his step-daughter, Colleen M. Raftery of Providence. He was the loving companion of Roseanne C. Hadam of Brooklyn CT. Cherished grandfather of David Gobin, Robert Gobin & his wife Meagan, Emilee Gobin, and great-grandfather of David Gobin, Jr. and Patrick Gobin. He was the brother of the late Gloria Gobin, Robert Gobin, Gladys Gobin Morris, Donald Gobin, and Ralph Gobin.
