Ronald Joseph Caruso, Sr. was born in New Orleans on October 5, 1927 to the late Pascal Caruso and Elvira Marguerite Power Caruso of New Orleans, Louisiana. He is survived by his sister, Janice Caruso Volpe (Paul), and brother, Milton Anthony Caruso, and sister-in-law, Carolyn B. Larousse (Ferrell). He was preceded in death by his sister, the late Beverly Caruso LeCorgne (the late Alfred). He passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at Chateau Living Center, Kenner, LA. at the age of 87 years.
Ronald had been married nearly 67 years to his loving wife, the late Rosemary Bourgeois Caruso. Together they raised four children: Cheryl C. Robinson (Stephen, Sr.) of Harahan, LA, Cathy C. Brien (the late Gene) of Kenner, LA, Ronald Joseph Caruso, Jr. (Mary Ann) of Metairie, LA and the late Craig John Caruso.
His greatest treasures in life were his nine grandchildren: Stephen E. Robinson, Jr. (Aimee), Scott J. Robinson (Valerie), Sean C. Robinson (Sarah), Craig M. Robinson (Katherine), Christie B. Milazzo (Anthony III), Geoffrey C. Brien, Melissa C. Carter (James), Mandy A. Caruso, Randy J. Caruso (Lindsey),
He will be so sadly missed, but never, ever forgotten, by family and friends.
